Richmond Kickers U14 Elite White standout Ka’eo “Gonzo” Gonsalves has been selected to participate in US Club Soccer’s id2 Program Training Camp scheduled for September 27-30, 2018 in Kansas City, KS. Gonzo joined the Kickers program at age 8 and has also represented Richmond United in the Boys Development Academy.
Attending an id2 Program Training Camp has many benefits for players:
- An opportunity to work with some of the nation’s best soccer coaches, and to play with and compete against some of the nation’s best players in your age group (2005 boys and 2004 girls).
- U.S. Soccer National Team staff on-site to scout players for inclusion in U.S. Soccer’s National Teams.
- Once players arrive at the id2 Program Training Camp, the program is free of charge. There is no camp fee, and lodging, meals and training gear are provided at no cost by US Club Soccer and Nike.
US Club Soccer’s id2 National Identification and Development Program provides an opportunity for the country’s top youth soccer players to be identified and developed in an elite training camp with top players from throughout the country, while also being scouted for possible inclusion in U.S. Soccer’s National Team programs.
