The club set new attendance records and continued to build upon the best stadium atmosphere last season
TAMPA, Fla. and RICHMOND, Va. – The Richmond Kickers are pleased to share that the club earned multiple 2023 USL League One end-of-season awards for business and operations while earning five more front-office department nominations.
After eclipsing the previous league attendance records and resetting the bar for average match attendance (4,786 fans) and total attendance (76,577 fans), the Roos took home the USL League One Starting XI Awards for Ticketing and Business Excellency.
The club continued to set the standard operationally in 2023 and earned recognition from its peers. Director of Player Personnel, Raymond Smetanick, earned Team Admin of the Year, and the Kickers earned Best Matchday Experience and Operations Team of the Year awards.
Additionally, the front office received Starting XI nominations for leadership, corporate sales, marketing, public relations and communications, and digital.
