09 ANTHEM COLUMBUS DAY TOURNAMENT STANDINGS/TIE BREAKERS
Division and/or bracket standings will be based on total points at the completion of preliminary matches. Total point ties within divisions and/or
brackets will be broken by the following tie-breakers in order:
Tie Breakers:
1. Head-to-head competition during the tournament of the two teams tied. (Disregard if more than two teams are tied.)
2. Fewest goals allowed.
3. Differential points- one for each positive goal differential, up to 3 per match.
4. If still tied after steps 1-3 above, both teams will proceed to an available field, at a time and place directed by the Tournament Director or Field
Marshal, and take penalty kicks in accordance with FIFA tie-breaker rules.
5. In the event of a match forfeited during the preliminary round, tie-breaking rules 2 & 3 will be based on the "per game" average for the games
actually played.
6. In the event that more than two teams are tied, the tie-breaking rules are followed in order even after a team has been eliminated.
