KICKERS CONTINUE ROAD STAND SUNDAY IN BALTIMORE Travel To Crystal Palace Baltimore May 4th The Richmond Kickers are slated to face Crystal Palace Baltimore on Sunday, May 4th at 4:00 pm at UMBC Stadium. Sunday’s match marks the second of three road games for Richmond who do not return home until Saturday, May 24th to host the Charlotte Eagles.
US CLUB SOCCER NAMES KICKERS FORMER GM CURT JOHNSON SVP OF MARKETING US Club Soccer recently announced the appointment of Richmond Kickers former Vice President and General Manager, Curt Johnson, as Senior Vice President of Marketing. Johnson will work with US Club Soccer Executive Director Bill Sage to develop and execute marketing programs for the various competitions and events held throughout the calendar year, as well as other membership initiatives and club development programs.
KICKERS & POSEIDON COMPLEX TO FEATURE U.S. OLYMPIC TRIALS POOLS The collaboration between Poseidon Swimming and the Richmond Kickers Youth Soccer Club, will feature four lighted turf soccer fields and two lighted natural grass fields in addition to two pools that will be used during the 2008 U.S. Olympic Trials in Omaha, Nebraska. Swimmers hoping to make the U.S. Olympic team and represent the United States in Beijing for the Summer Games will compete in these pools – a 50 meter competition pool and a 50 meter plus 25 meter off shoot, warm-up pool - beginning June 29.
