We are proud to host Shaun Gore, Director of Chelsea FC "Football in the Community" programs, and members of his elite coaching staff. This is a great opportunity to be trained and evaulated by some of the top coaches from the Chelsea Academy. Additionally, a select group of players from the camp will be invited to train with Chelsea FC in London, next spring. Seven players from the 2006 camp and 12 from the 2007 camp where given this amazing opportunity. The camp includes a Chelsea FC training shirt, ball and giveaway.

The Richmond Kickers are once again teaming up with the Tuckahoe YMCA to provide a fun camp for players ages 4 through 14. CHELSEA FC CAMP 2007 - BIGGER AND BETTER THAN 2006!
Twelve Players Invited To Train In England This Spring

RICHMOND, VA – (Wednesday, November 28, 2007) – The Richmond Kickers are pleased to announce that the second annual Chelsea FC camp was an enormous success. Over 100 participants were exposed to a once in a lifetime opportunity, training and being evaluated by some of the 2005 and 2006 English Premiership Champions, Chelsea FC’s top coaches. A group of twelve players from the camp were invited to participant with Chelsea FC’s academy in London next spring, including CJ Stevens, Jake Phillips, Michael Moolhuyzen, Gabe Palais, Chris Darnes, Alex Liscio, Gil Topaz, Ben Kavit, Seve Velasco, Keenan O'Shea, Sam Perry, and William Shields.
